1) Beneath the Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire
2) Dead Lies Dreaming by Charles Stross
I would have finished Dead Lies Dreaming last night but I became very angry over transmisogynistic attacks on Twitter and couldn't read for pleasure. My anger was so strong, I didn't do my usual which is support and block. No, I responded in kind. I'll try to not do that in the future though I suspect I'll take choice shots of tweets to present to the assholes when necessary.
